The story of Rocksteady (formally CFO for Growth) is an exciting one. Our founder Aggie launched CFO for Growth during the pandemic. She saw first-hand how many agencies were chasing revenue without underestanding profit and cash flow or the support to make confident strategic decisions.
Aggie started off as a one-woman consultancy and the business has quickly grown into a dedicated team, supporting ambitious agencies across the UK.
As our business grew, we realised the brand needed to evolve too.
Getting the finances right is such an integral part of creating sustained agency growth and success, but we realised that the business was about something bigger and more human, rather than just growth.
We wanted to create a brand that captures our work ethos, the authentic support, collaboration and straight-talking approach that we provide as a team.
Our name reflects this. We become your “rock” for financial success and act as the “steady” hand to guide you through financial complexity. We achieve all of this by being refreshingly different in the way we work, combining financial strategy and execution.
Growing up, I always wanted to be a business owner. It was the 1980s in Poland and my mindset was that you had to work hard and not expect to get a lot for it.
But I always believed I could do anything in the world if I put my mind to it. I refused to listen to anyone who told me otherwise. I have always had a:
